to the website of the CCM Training Project. This project is sponsored by the DG JLS of the EU Commission within the 2006 preparatory action programme.

The project aims at sustainable return of persons, who either voluntarily or by ordered return have to return to their home country. The partners cooperating in this project want to establish chains of institutions for the implementation of individual return cases (CCM = case chain management).

Return cases from Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands are channeled to specific return countries like Afghanistan, Iraq and Kosovo through an internet based case management system. In these countries return services are provided by regional offices of AGEF and others.

In return countries where such service providers do not yet exist alternatives have to be sought for the further extension of return services.

The focus of the project at hand is the training of counsellors and case managers in host and home countries in the planning and implementation of the CCM approach.
